Some minor updates were completed on the backend services. These updates have little impact on most users, but it should clear up a couple of minor problems that a few of you may have encountered. Other than that, we have been exploring the Second Life virtual online world. We will provide more information once we have spent more time in Second Life. In the meanwhile, you can go check them out yourselves.

Stickam Chat Room Redirection Service

Updates: (2006.6.13)

• if chatroom defined and exists then redirect to chat room
• if chatroom defined but does not exist then redirect to Stickam chat room page
• if profile defined and in a chat room then redirect to the chat room
• if profile defined but not in a chat room then redirect to the profile page
• if neither chatroom nor profile are defined then redirect to Stickam home page

Stickam Where Am I Image Widget

Updates: (2006.6.13)

• image displays the Stickam profile name
• image displays actual display name if user is in a chat room

See specific pages for more details or browse the site for other free widgets and services. While these Stickam widgets and services have not been tested on all social network sites, they should function correctly on MySpace, Friendster, TagWorld, et al.

It’s been a little slow around here. We’re just doing some clean-up work. The site’s been updated here and there with more information and details. We changed the placement of a few things. Let us know if you have any comments or feedback.

We also touched up the MySpace and Stickam profile examples a bit.

The bulk of the work has been with updating the free Stickam Where Am I image widget and service. We are currently accepting requests for the Stickam Where Am I service. See the Stickam Where Am I Image Widget page for details and available colors. Send us an email with your Stickam profile name, color (if it’s not already available) and please remember to let us know who you are. While we are not very strict, we would like to keep a little control over the users for now.
