But, as you pointed out and as we stated before, there is really no compelling reason to use this over donating directly to your favorite organizations. At most they might say that they have applied. They do admit that they will deduct to cover credit card processing fees, processing fees, accountants, lawyers, etc. Now, their website says that after over 4 million impressions their top 10 fundraisers have only raised $510 (#10 just raised $16, so there's no long tail here). That's not even going to cover their expenses.So perhaps no deduction and nothing for charity.Forget it! You’re right.
