March Madness Widget #2

This widget is brought to you by Clearspring and College Sports Television, CSTV.com (a CBS company). There is also a desktop version of the widget at the CSTV Dashboard page.

Clearspring adds another great sports widget to their portfolio (Colts, NBA and now March Madness). This widget is packed full of news, videos, scores and bracket info.

You can get your own widget by clicking the “Grab it!” button. We grabbed ours from the announcement of the widget at Widgify.

One last thing to note, we noticed that Clearspring has developed different versions to address the issue of external linking from Flash. The standard widget will open the content in a new window and the MySpace version opens a text bubble within the widget presenting a URL for users to cut and paste into a browser. This is a smart move, especially for the audience that this widget will appeal to.
