Alexaholic becomes Statsaholic (update your chartlet widgets)
Update (2007.03.26): Looks like Alexa is taking more drastic measures in blocking Statsaholic. Check out the Statsaholic site or the post by the man behind the site. Even if you don’t use Statsaholic, show your support. In our opinion, Alexa should be working with Ron on resolving any possible legal issues. We believe that Statsaholic and Alexa can coexist successfully without compromising legal concerns.
Alexaholic announced yesterday that they will be changing their name to Statsaholic due to possible trademark issues and a shift in their strategic plan. Statsaholic plans on new features to take them beyond just Alexa stats.
If you use Alexaholic Statsaholic and its Chartlet widget, you should update all your bookmarks and code.
In case you didn’t know. The Chartlet widget is a javascript widget that allows you to place the Alexa charts on your site. Customizable fields include; size, background color, default type tab, default date range, and domain list. The widget is interactive and viewers can change the views.
It’s up to you to decide on the value of Alexa data.
